Great, worth the money..and the pain

I had never used an epilator before this one, but I was fed up of shaving and found waxing too messy.
Let's face it, what epilator isn't going to hurt a bit, it's not the epilator hurting you it's the fact that 100s of hairs are being plucked out of their roots at one time. But I found that apart from the initial pain, that was it, there was no lingering sensation at all.. barely any redness either. In fact I think the word 'pain' isn't fair to this product, once I got used to the epilator on my skin it felt more like a tingling hot sensation. But you definitely know when it is working or whether it isn't being held correctly and not plucking.

I did a bit of searching before I chose this one, I wanted a wet and dry epilator with as many functions as possible to get value for money and I think for the cost this one is at the top of the range. Plus being able to charge it is a bonus. The benefit of using it in water too is that I found using in a cool/cold shower, particularly for the bikini area helps. I haven't had the nerve to try the under-arm yet but it has worked a treat on my legs and bikini.. I did find my thighs and knees a bit difficult as hair is so much finer and the skin is not as taught but nonetheless it did its job.

It is easy to hold, has a pretty sparkly handle, not too noisy and lightweight so good for travelling. I recommend this product highly.

and it does cost a lot of money. In this case, you get what you pay for. Everything about this product exudes quality. The build, handling, and action all feel different to the cheaper competition. The one-hour charge time, followed by 40 minutes of continuous use, is almost twice as good as my previous model. The actual epilation is not pain-free (obviously) but when done wet it is as good as I can imagine it ever being. It comes with a packet of pre-epilation wipes and carry/shower bag. There is only a two-pin plug, so an adapter would be needed for those wanting to use it in a 3-pin socket, although these only cost a couple of pounds. As this is a Braun product it's very well built inside and out, and I expect it to last several years. In summary, yes it's expensive, but if you want less pain and hassle I would recommend you buy it rather than the cheaper alternatives out there.
